Volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome at CCMI. Gaining volunteer experience develops and strengthens new and existing skills, builds self-confidence, and creates a sense of being essential to the growth of others in the community. Having volunteer experience shows potential employers or educational institutions that you are socially aware, serious and committed about the work you do. Volunteering in an area you are interested in builds essential contacts, which could be useful in the future when you are looking for a job or choosing a career path.

If you are interested in volunteering at CCMI, visit the Contact Us section for ways to communicate with us.

Internships and Co-op Students

Internships and co-op placements are also a great way to gain skills and experience, make networking contacts and test out potential career opportunities. CCMI interns and co-op students fulfill a wide range of duties including research for potential programs, creation of marketing materials, interacting and working with clients one-on-one, and more. A placement here ensures that all members of the team get involved in every facet of social marketing. CCMI frequently takes on interns and co-op students from high schools, colleges and universities in and around the Greater Toronto Area. Visit the Contact Us section of the website for any questions or potential inquires you may have. Additionally, you may wish to speak to your school’s Co-operative Education department for details on how to become a Co-op student.
